The world is filled with many cool and interesting creatures, and we're not just talking about your weird cousin who can balance ten spoons on his face. No, we're talking about cool critters that have evolved over millions of years to look like something out of an AI experiment gone wrong, but they're actually 100% real. Evolution is the original AI, and we don't need a fancy computer to marvel at its carefully navigated intelligence that has led to millions of species inhabiting our great, green Earth.

You'll have to see some of these animals to believe they're real. Some look like Pokemon and others look like something out of a horror or science-fiction movie. These aren't your everyday cats with unique fur patterns - these animals look distinctly unique and are quite rare. You might never encounter one in real life, so soak them all up here.     Okay, we're pretty sure this is a Pokemon. Or the Nintendo company saw this and got inspired to make Pokemon. Either way, this brightly-colored rodent with spikes all over it does not seem real. But it is!

    Now, what pawssible evolutionary advantage could evolving red lips on a fish be? We'll have to remember to ask whoever is in charge up there when we die because this looks weirdly fake, but it's actually called the "red-lipped batfish". An accurate name!
